Halloween in Las Vegas is getting closer and there are plenty of activities locals will enjoy without hitting the Strip. Haunted houses? Creepy harvests? Body part cocktails? These are just a few of the findings we’re bookmarking for this 2015 Las Vegas Halloween.
Las Vegas Halloween Parade Canceled
First, some sad news is that the Las Vegas Halloween Parade for 2015 has been cancelled. A crowd of 100,000 was estimated for this year and negotiations were underway to setup a partnership that would better support this popular event. Dear Las Vegas Community & Halloween Parade Enthusiasts;
I writing to explain the situation surrounding the The Las Vegas Halloween Parade for 2015.
Last year approximately 70,000 attended the parade and after-event throughout the night. It was a wonderful success and we had great reports from our many friends in the community who shared the experience. As always, we are grateful the Las Vegas Community & beyond, which came in such meaningful numbers to share in our participatory Halloween spectacle.
The growing popularity of the event, combined with Halloween falling on a Saturday night this year – led us to estimate participation by upward of 100,000 people. This comes with increased infrastructure requirements and, of course, costs.
Earlier this year we were approached by a supporter who expressed interest in producing the 2015 parade. But, after months of negotiation, we were unable to agree on a plan that met everyone’s needs. Because of the late date, we’ve made the unfortunate decision to cancel this year’s event and focus on putting the sponsors and infrastructure in place to come back in 2016 with a parade that will be bigger and better than ever.
We apologize for the late notice, and we look forward to working with everyone in the coming year.

Freakling Brothers, Trilogy of Terror
This haunted adventure sounds like it’s not for the faint hearted. Located just North of the Las Vegas Strip, on 4245 S Grand Canyon Dr visitors are surprised at the intensity of the experience. The outside is described parking in a “unremarkable shopping center” and nothing particularly striking/or foreboding before entering. Their experience below makes us want to go!
We’ve been going to haunts for 20 years. We’ve been through a lot of mazes/haunted houses/walk-through attractions. And we can easily say that Freakling Bros. Trilogy of Terror in Las Vegas contains the three craziest and scariest haunted attractions we have ever experienced.
The Trilogy experience is for those 17 and over.
Springs Preserve Haunted Harvest
A kid friendly haunted house opens for Halloween at Springs Preserve. Be brave enough to trick or treat and join the party with live entertainment and petting zoo. You can order tickets here.
Homebody Halloween, or Not…
If you’re planning to stay home because you’re a homebody or just don’t want to deal, invite some friends over and make it a party. It’s the best time of the year to try Brainfood, Cruel Intestines and an Eye for an Eye. But… why make them when you can have someone scare these up for you? These are part of the five different cocktails that are being conjured by Panevino. Thanks to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, we find out that Panevino, across from McCarran Airfield on 246 Via Antonio Avenue is serving these cocktails through October 31st. Half price during happy hour from 4-7PM!
